Of course i did but it's naive just to pick four players and think that's the defence sorted based on how they have played in the last two games Liverpool? ⦠IMO they were all dreadful as they lost the points running back towards there own goal following a quick break away RF now currently under fire when he is clearly the best defender we have at the club Everyone praising Yun for yes a great performance but he played a risky game IMO and better passes at times would have made him look silly The key to any players you pick on here will be IMO what protection they get going forward, how they organise themselves from set pieces and how they play the ball out from the back ⦠all these factors rely on the CDM. Get that right and we will all be guessing what the best four will be until that is they make a mistake to which a massive amount of blame will be poured onto that player in good old naive QPR fan style so your comment about it being a closed case is again very naive ⦠you blow like the wind
Absolutely right, Seagull. I didn't want to write Hill, but had a mental block and couldn't come up with another name to complete the four.
By Jeeves I think you've got it! Maybe that explains Harry's team selections, mental blocks on players names!
Ned, Caulker, Clint, Traore for me, with Isla in front of Ned (a solid 4 this one), or Isla Caulker Clint Yun if Ned isn't fit, or Isla Ned Caulker Yun (or Traore ),or Dunne for Clint if we are playing Villa again or a Villa look alike........... It's good with alternatives to use dependent on the opposition. The positives are that Isla's improving play even where he's seemed weak at RB, give us decent alternatives there - Isla and Ned, and Yun has shown form at LB, so with Traore we have 2 decent alternatives there. Then even without Rio, we have 4 CB's where Ned and Caulker can play together, or either one with Dunne or Clint
