  3. Dirk Kuyt was more divisive amongst fans; some loved him, others didn't. Suarez a divisive player. Most think he's a quality player but a c**t. #pedantic

I was just trying to create division.

    P.S. Everyone loves Dirk!

Suarez is a basket case on the field. So is bad, if we can get Bad firing and flog him for 75 mil in a season or two.. happy days.

So it turned out Tobes' housing market analogy was pants after all <laugh> We also found out that when Henry "paints himself into a corner", he just lets that s**t dry :D

    I disagree <ok>

    I agree <ok>

Should have made myself clear - I didn't mean divisive just amongst us Liverpool fans, but the whole [football] world

G - sometimes I press the post button too soon, what was in my head never made it onto the page ..... so are you changing your mind now about most divisive?

  12. Not changing my mind no. However, I will answer differently for the question you now ask :p

I dont think it would have mattered if he had had Johnny Cochrane representing him tbh mate.
The FA decided from Day 1 they were gonna make an example of him.
And we know from the Terry case that the FA don't give a **** what lawyers, judges or the legal system says, they are going to dish out whatever punishment they want regardless.

He was guilty as charged as he admitted saying it! If he'd never admitted it, then it's highly likely he'd have got off with it. Hence my simple comment, as it was a simple fact. Oh and I've read that entire report btw, so save your usual santamonious snide pop.

<ok> I agree in essence Bod but the law firm the club used was one that specialises in celebrity law suits so Suarez does have a point but as you say in the bigger picture, it probably wouldn't have made any odds.

It was also only a few weeks since Blatter had made his comments about handshakes and racism, the FA had (rightly) called him out on it and all the other associations basically kept silent. They couldn't really then turn round and go soft if they did find him guilty. Contrarily, here was a great opportunity to make a statement about how racism should be treated. They could have gone about it better though.
