As somebody who probably just got an A in A-Level Economics, I suggest:
    - Food
    - High value commodities (e.g. Gold etc. have risen)
    - Property in the PIGS economies (Portugal, Ireland, Greece and Spain) have dived in price.
    - Basically anything you can think of which might be affected by a combination of the above.

Also, are you doing A-Level Economics?

Buses and trains as well especially getting around near London :(
And on a side note it's not fair that I have to pay the full adult tickets for trains when I'm not required to be paid the same wage as an 18 year old!

Food, particularly wheat is a good example of sharp price increase as are various valuable metals, gold, copper etc.

Electronic goods such as LCD tv's and Wii consoles have dropped due to increased mass supply and competition from competing products. Property prices have also dropped in many markets.

Also whilst told to dismiss petrol remember that petrol costs pass on to relevant commodities. So travel etc has in many cases risen sharply due to the petrol price being passed on to the consumer. This has also had a knock on to most bulk transported goods, especially foodstuffs.

Consider also the effect stability has on price. Holidays in north africa and the middle east are currently cheaper because of safety concerns, so bargains can be had because travel companies and hotels are struggling to sell.

Also consider any products with high price elasticity, i.e they are heavily effected by the price of direct competition. I gave you an example earlier with Wii consoles.

    Good luck fella! :)

That is a good one actually! :)

Demand vastly outstrips supply and the recent homegrown rule requirement means that current demand growth has been bigger than the industries ability to respond. After all academy production is a long term production process and cannot be changed to increase output in the short term.
