Now is the time for the big boys to show the little boys who are top dog :emoticon-0165-muscl

We have had it easy up to now.

Time to reignite our challenge for top spot and win this league.

One thing for sure very happy we sit where we are,as oppossed to this time last year.

We never were going to have it all our own way,it makes it very interesting going into the next quarter:grin:

Yes, our next four league games are all against sides currently chasing us in the top 7 (Oldham, Swindon, Preston, Peterborough). November will be a real test, not to mention the two Cup games too.

Oddly, December (FA Cup aside) sees us play mid-table Crawley, then 3 of the current bottom 4 (Crewe, Yeovil and Gillingham).

I don't know about having it easy so far, but SC has definitely revitalised the club. I too am happy with where we are right now, as opposed to this time last season.

We all largely knew the teams that would be in and around the top 6 before the season even started.

There have been a couple of surprises - Notts Co, Chesterfield and Oldham are all doing well and the likes of Doncaster and Barnsley who were also tipped to be pushing for a fast return to the Championship are struggling.

MK Dons, PNE, Peterborough, Sheff Utd, Utd are probably 5 of the top 6 come May. Hopefully we'll be first or second.....

At this moment serious injuries and suspensions have not been a factor, to the best of my knowledge, for any team near the top.
    Long way to go yet!

Things are good but we MUST tighten up at the back! Draws are getting too regular.....we need wins, even if we take a few losses along the way. Preston are winning!!!!

Our target must be to win 24 draw 12 and lose 10

the worst scenarios in all cases every loss better than 10 a win
every draw less than 12 a win or at worst a win one lose one!

Its conceding 2 goals a game that worries me.

I cant see us scoring 2 or 3 goals every game up to the end of the season.

We have to hope our first eleven can stay injury free, without doubt this team is the best in the league as the majority of managers will say in this league.

But we do have a quality bench in all areas that will do a job.

Heres hopefully to promotion in 2015 <yikes>

It's also the number of draws that is a concern. I'd hoped we'd got out of that habit.......

I usually consider a point away from home to be a point gained, but we need to get 3 points from virtually every home game and stop throwing away leads as well as conceding **** loads of goals.

1 in 3 games drawn is good if the rest isn't losses, also indicates there are a lot of teams at our level, or we are at the level of a lot of other teams..

also a draw means the other team isn't winning. I would settle for draws against PNE and Peterborough for instance. Who knows how valuable draws will be come the end of the season.

I wish you guys would use punctuation.
That statement as written means that LJ will come out on top. Is that what you meant?
Or "The apprentice; who will come out on top?"
