There's an easy win for this for a fans group, provided that they recognise that there are a significant number of people feeling disfranchised from the club, and that feel their voice is not being heard or represented.

Pushing for a trust is one thing, but it's as well to demonstrate by actions that the group will listen and act on peoples concerns. At the moment, it's unclear what this new group has or will achieve over and above what a small group can push for themselves.

The old CTWD group had a single clear mandate in opposing the name change, and produced clear answers to specific questions.

Perhaps the CTWD could publish something that shows issues that fans raised and the answers CTWD got back from the club?

As the release of new season tickets in N5 opens up possibilities of movement of season ticket holders within the ground (either for fans from elsewhere in the ground to move into N5, or East Stand fans potentially moving within the East Stand, assuming that some existing fans want to move to N5), we will discuss the practicalities/mechanics of moving fans with James Mooney.

Assuming that James Mooney is willing to assist with this, in an attempt to rectify some of the issues that remain from the previous seat move, we will email all our members to invite anyone with outstanding issues to contact us and we'll do what we can to help rectify them.

Is a more complete response pending, because that seems to miss an awful lot?

If you want a CTWD response, you'll have to be rather more specific?

These accounts have been set up so people can make suggestions and comment on our aims and intentions, everything raised is discussed at CTWD meetings and this is just one issue that we though we could act to help resolve.

Erm, I raised this thread, not you or CTWD.

I raised it to ask for a specific item to be added to the agenda. I was told by CTWD it could be. But the answer from CTWD doesn't address the specific points. Hence my question to CTWD.

    If you would, ta.

It's a response from CTWD I'm after. If you recall, I suggested the CTWD log in for CTWD replies in to reduce confusion. <ok>

So, CTWD, is there a more complete response pending?

No problem, though there's only two people answering CTWD questions on here and at least one of them doesn't know what you're actually asking.

Perhaps it's best the other CTWD person reads this thread (and perhaps others) and then reads the earlier reply in that context.

Then perhaps they'll see why I'm asking about the other points not mentioned in that reply.

In a way you're right Happy. It's best the answer is from CTWD rather than someone later on pointing out CTWD would have had a different view but were never asked.

If Harry is short for Harold, why isn't Barry short for Barold?

Why is Madge short for Margaret?

Is it only in Hull that someone called George is often called Gudder?

It's amusing to see this insistence on CTWD answering under their official name; this so that it is clear and unequivocal that the answers are official and not personal - and deniable. I recall, in conversations past, making this very point with the moderation of this board, as personal and moderator reasoning were being blurred. Of course this was and still is deniable.
But back to the point seemingly being made; if it is thought a smaller group, of concerned supporters, could achieve as much or more that CTWD to the seating/atmosphere concerns, then why don't they bite the bullet and simply get on with doing it?
Instead of constantly being a pretty pointless niggle at CTWD, why not put them energies into attempting to cure their own ills? As CTWD are still evolving, from campaign group to Trust, why not allow them to complete the process of finalising their new constitution, then we can all see what we have to consider - as will the club.
Perhaps, Dutch, it is time for you to resist calling upon the favours of CTWD and to do a bit of DIY while other things develop. Just a thought.

Erm, the small group have already done what you suggest, that's not the issue. (Although it is for others).

The agenda item was specifically about atmosphere and CTWD put that on the agenda as a issue for what is after all, a fans group.

    To DMD

I'm sure you think yourself as very clever with your smart arse answers, but why not just ask your question again in a few short, clear and concise lines. As OLM said your demanding an answer from CTWD but one of the two posters from that group has no idea what your asking, and i would imagine the other one may be in the same boat.
