We're in a competition lets try and win it! Regardless what it is Nothing better than a cup final day

I wonder what kind of team will play. Pascoe says we will rotate and Rossiter and Williams are in contention. I doubt both youngsters will start though. I'd like to see Borini and Markovic have a game here. Possibly in a system thats plays right to their strengths. Mignolet Johnson Toure Lovren Enrique Rossiter Lucas Allen Markovic Lambert Borini
I'd really like to see Ryan McLaughlin be given a chance - the kid looks dynamite for the 21's. Surely he has to have a chance to make the senior team sooner rather than later??
Exactly my thoughts. It really irritates me when people think we're either too good to bother with the LC or it's not worth winning. FFS it's a trophy and winning it should be a target every year.
yes, but without jeapordising our chances in the far more serious competitions. so squad rotation a must.
I agree with squad rotation, especially this year due to CL But I still think we as fans should be wanting to win any trophy possible, that's the irratating thing, when people just don't care about it. For me it's a decent cup, that should be a target every year. Obviously it's not the main objective but a cup win is nothing to turn our noses up at. I for one hope we beat Swansea and go on to do well in the LC. Even if it's to boost confidence, we lose tonight and it's backs against the wall time!
Absolutely, think i heard on the radio that we havent beat a pl team in the league cup since 2002! Could be wrong only sort of half heard it
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will make wholesale changes to the side that drew with Hull on Saturday. Rickie Lambert is set to start, while youngster Jordan Rossiter may feature again after scoring in the last round. Swansea manager Garry Monk will resist the temptation to rest a host of his first-team players. Gerhard Tremmel is expected to replace Lukasz Fabianski in goal and Gylfi Sigurdsson may sit this game out after limping off against Leicester. #ourboysagainsttheirmen
Would have liked to see Rossiter start, thought he looked good last time around and kept the game ticking nicely. Lets hope we find our groove again tonight
The (Salford) Mancs have been talking how they're mathematically on for the PL, well we're mathematically on for the quad
Both sides are putting out relatively strong teams, could be a good game. Still not bothered if we lose though as top four in Prem must be our main target. Anything on top is a bonus.
