Its ok doing it in the Championship, but he could be just another yo yo club like Birmingham or Sunderland. Once he gets in the big league we'll see what he's made of.

Is there some end of season reward for being consistently top 4-6 in the big league. Do I qualify for Europe or something?

Last time was one of those freaky situations when everything went against me. Referees seemed determined to see me relegated, the fans were a distraction instead of getting behind me, and don't even get me started on the local press!

By my reckoning we have something like a 4 way tie for 2nd place behind the mighty Lawro this month. Then there are a load of losers like JPF, A Commie Spy etc

Lawro retains his League Champion crown for the second month in a row - who can doubt his right to be the prediction pundit of choice now?

SPMS goes from being last month's runner-up to this month's relegation fodder

Even worse than SPMS, Dr Shak goes from being August's League Champion to two successive relegations down to the Titus Bramble league

In a reverse of Dr Shak, Jakarta has now won back to back promotions up to The Football Blog Directory Division One

Top scorer for October, across all divisions, was none other than the mighty Neville Hope, who returns back to his rightful place in the top division.

New player Windy looks nailed on for promotion from the Titus Bramble League next month as the only active player

As it stands then Dr Shak should also be OK for promotion, provided he repeats his trick of predicting once a month

But...will new players join and make Windy and Shak work for it???



Last month, a new rule was implemented (referred to in the press as the rule of laziness) whereby players equal on points shall retain their respective positions prior to the previous update. In other words, to overtake another player you must overtake their points total rather than just drawing level. At the start of the month the starting positions are taken from the previous month's final positions. This makes it much easier to keep the tables up to date.

So, for example, if SPMS had gained one point on Monday night and drawn level with ACS, then SPMS would still have been relegated as they would have maintained their positions. He would have needed to overtake ACS's point score in order to overtake him. The same rule was applied to determine Tasty as runner up.

You will have already explained this previously. How are the rankings decided on a tie? Number of exact scores? I'm unhappy with 5th and beeling here

 

But isn't that the whole point of a JPF game? To get you beeling??
