But the club can describe what is passive (sitting and little singing) and active (regular singing and standing when a goal is scored) people can sure put two and two together as to what to expect from each part. As for allocating as per KC - thats not for me. I'm South Stand cos its cheaper for the kids but when away I like to stand and sing and so do the kids (11 and 14).
A bit late.... but what if someone who sits in West Stand were going to an away game with someone from North stand though?
I think it would too. Now seems a reasonable time to resurect this, with the possibility of adjustments being made in the north. Hopefully, lessons have been learned over the poor administration of that move that can help towards this next opportunity, not just in the north, but for all those affected by it in the rest of the ground too.
I'm not sure, I think next season, but I could be wrong. It would actually be better if it was next season, I think they'll have issues switching people around half way through the season and it would cause more problems sorting permanent moves for those who are still unhappy with the last seat move when we come to the summer.
I think now would be a good time for discussions and consultations to start and get better advice than they did for the evictions. It's not just about the people that are unhappy with the changes, there's an opportunity to encourage some of those that walked away back, as well as a great opportunity to improve the atmosphere. Perhaps some of the pay on the day could be in the east? It's difficult to get places for friends who can only make the odd game without them being in a different stand.
not directly to you Gilbert (not real name) but are they moving the pay on the day then? to N1 or summat?
The problem is that if the people in one row of seats decide to stand, everyone behind them has to do the same. Once they sit down, as at Liverpool, the entire stand sits down. Now I'll probably get hysterically attacked for saying this but there is an assumption on here that the majority of people want to stand. I don't. Call me plastic, flaky, flasker or any other derogative term if you want. I stand when I have to stand - because the people in front are standing. I prefer not to do it for the entire game though. It doesn't stop me standing and going mental when we score or when we have a corner at our end.
Nope, there should be room for all. A logical solution is those wishing to sit, go nearer the front, those wishing to stand more often go nearer the back.
I don't know, they just said they'd be selling N5 as season tickets next season at the fan group meeting.
You misunderstand me. I am quite happy for people to stand. I am also happy to be near the front. I jusr don't want to pay for a seat and then have to stand because someone else has chosen that I will. A standing area is a good compromise.
