I think lfc must roll the squad and try to do as much as poss out of resources available.

many lads are back fit... surely to god gerrard must be "rested" sterling too.



lucas, coutinho, markovic... the list of lads who can come in isn't actually short.

 

suso is injured but aside from that I'd not mind seeing this at all.

 

Play the diamond.

Give Sterling and Lallana a rest, and put Markovic in the number 10 role or even up front where he is far more dangerous.

Get Toure back in the team, alongside Lovren.

I really hope Johnson plays because it would mean Manquillo will start in the league.

Same here if I'm honest. Swansea will play a strong team and we'll definately play a 2nd string team.

Saying that though, I'll be interested to see how our 'weakened' team plays and look forward to the likes of Rossiter etc. playing.

 

not bothered if we win or lose to be honest. never rated the LC even though we have won it a few times.

Should rest Gerrard and Sterling tonight. I would play Balotelli just to see if he can score and perhaps give him a bit of confidence.

 

Thing is, our weakened team isn't exactly weak. In fact, it would give our first team a good game atm

So this isn't being televised? whilst Sky show Chelsea playing ****ing Shrewsbury and BT sport have the German cup on. TV rights in this country are so ****ed up

 

I'd prefer him to be dropped for the squad completely to give him a full rest. Same goes for Gerrard, Hendo, Lovren, Migs (won't happen), Moreno and Coutinho.

Would like to se vigouroux get a go in goal. Has been good in the u21s when ive seen him
