http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-FC-Fans-urged-attend-Big-Night/story-21324531-detail/story.html This is what Hull Fc did for a game this year so no reason City can't follow suit
it's true though just a party club we are.. it's true really... we have the f**ing worst fans ever.. barely any give a f** about hull city afc i mean.. amount of people defending a woman in a f**ing half liverpool half city shirt sums it up mate this club is pathetic.. and always will be... the booing summed it up, i ain't watched a city game since west ham.. might get pissed and fight with some c**t, but pfft i care less about our club at all, don't give a ****
The plans for the fan park already include local food(pattie, peas and chips), beer and live music, but I've no idea how far down the line negotiations with the council are.
If it's not just some waste ground where our firm can meet the other teams firm for some manly scrapping it shouldn't be allowed. Seriously, how can real fans want a fan Park? Sod off to Alton Towers if you want a fun Park. This sums up everything wrong with football today.
It's more about creating some extra income for the club and hooking more kids whilst they're young to follow us in the long term with the entertainment. The local bands gives people from this city a platform to get noticed and some sort of beer garden is somewhere on the doorstep to the KC serving better beer than the rust they sell inside. Individual aspects of the fan park will be worthwhile even if you don't like the idea overall.
If this fan park has a kiddies area then I'd suggest something for the adults. Not a full on strip joint as such, more like a titty bar where it's just topless action. Dads could go there whilst the juniors went and frolicked with Roary. Sorted.
Ah yes, by all means have a beer and some food in a pub, but don't you dare do the exact same thing in a fan park near the ground or your a plastic sell out. If anything replacing the PL game on the pub TV screens for live music makes a fan park a far better option, that is unless you want to watch your second team win before going to the City game.
WTF is wrong with some people this week ? Some right whinging c**ts on here. What's wrong with a Fan Park ? Decent food, few drinks listening to a bit of live music having a chat about the upcoming game. Builds up the atmosphere, etc. Main problem I can see is that Old Bill might insist it's alcohol free and then also we'll have the winter elements to contend with on some match days. But generally a good idea.
We have one of the most beautiful stadium settings in the country and we should make most of. Look at Wembley it's the middle of a industrial estate and Wigan and Stoke are surrounded by retail parks.
Can just imagine the Old Bill saying no alcohol. No loud music, no chips as fryers and hot oil are dangerous, no making a noise etc... But they hope everyone has fun. They will need extra officers at great cost to the club just to make sure everyone is safe of course.
I don't think they can charge the club for an event that's held on council owned land in West Park, so they'll probably hate the idea even more.
Surely having the majority of fans congregating in a designated fan park near the stadium would only help them with their job.
