when you are 1 nil down with 10 seconds left against the best team so far this season who after they scored parked the bus, I would be over the moon.
The celebrations were more extreme than previous Utd teams getting the result to win them the league Just shows how far they have fallen I guess.
Bollocks. If you can find me video footage of any last minute goal scored by United at Old Trafford which got them a point/three points and which was greeted by the players warmly patting each other on the back and giving a cheeky nod to the crowd then I will find you video footage of Steven Gerrard lifting the Premier League trophy.
True, but this Chelsea side led by a world class manager is hardly comparable to a Keegan led Newcastle with no experience of winning anything.
I think 1-1 was a fair result. Good first half for United and good second for Chelsea. United will need at some stage of the season to score these multiple chances they are creating, especially against the so called big teams. I cannot remember any match in which United were dominated and deserved to be beaten. I also thought that Mourinho missed a trick in the second half after they scored. They could easily have pushed home their advantage and would probably have scored another 1 or 2 if they had the courage to go for it. But Jose being Jose held back and put in Mikel and their team sat back and United got back into the game and deservedly scored. LVG was rightly unhappy for the missed chances but the draw felt like a win. All non- Chav fans in the prem would have been glad of the result (except for the RS fans who had been looking forward United being torn apart)..
winning the premiership title? too mundane to get very excited about. Something that the RS have yet to experience...by last season's experience they REALLY would get excited: advance booking of open top buses, EARLY guards of honour to the players, Premature Champions banners etc...
They did it the week before when OG scored their leveler in the 94th minute against the mighty QPR. Epic scenes by the away fans
Sterling played for the own goal, hit it with side spin aginst their defender - always going to go in. That Owen Ghoal has done well for us this season. Good scenes but not like RVP swinging his shirt around like he's won the WC with the last kick of the game. It was quite cringeworthy to be honest
I worry for our rivals when we get back on top again. Werr all going to be horrible arrogant ****s as pay back for the last season and a bit See ruffs sig for more information
He's going to be disgusted with the Liverpool players' celebration of Lovren's goal this evening. Just shameful. Embarrassing. Appalling.
