I've got a great idea, let's all pretend to be interested in Chelsea for a week to cheer you guys up and get this board active again... Shouldn't be too hard, it's how you lot came to support Chelsea if Man Utd and Arsenal fans' jealous grumblings are anything to go by So... who are we going to comfortably beat 2-0 this week? This is exciting... I'm not sure I can take expecting victory and getting it 99% of the time, I might have a stroke.

LOL Awesome idea. Everyone knows we had no fans Pre Roman. They used to just let all the bums and homeless guys in to SB on a Saturday to give the illusion of support. Its very rich coming from United fans as well, seeing as 99.9% of their fan base is in the Far East and has never even set foot in this country, let alone Old Trafford.

OP - we never make top 6 here in not606. Spuds, Manu, Hull, Goons, Pool, QPR, NE clubs, Soton boards are much more active than our board. This is all time counts rating. You need to let HIAG back in, he used to stir things up nicely. I think lots got fed up with Ossie and Robbie keyboard warrior impressions and didn't come back. These sites are abbout banter, if you can't take it, you are in the wrong place. There is very little humour on here. On the Spurs site we have a good laugh, Arsenal enjoy their arguing, you lot want to just keep it pure without opposition fans coming along. Plus you have no mods now that I can see.
What HIAG did/does was extremely poor banter. Unfunny tedious wumming that had him banned from multiple boards.
The Man Utd boards been quiet for a long time too although that's the result of matth Newcastle's board as always been very active along with a few lower league clubs too. Our board is active but I don't think we're in the top two on Not606
So you reply to one bit but not the rest? And I was being tongue in cheek. Although when you (the board) did ban him for the second time it was not on the basis of anything he did, it was only the likes of Robbie and Ossie throwing their toys out of the pram that meant your mods banned him. I know this cause I followed it all very carefully at the time. As I believe I said at the time, if you ban everyone you find boring, then they'll be very few of us left.

Why did I need to reply to the rest? I don't deny people got fed up with those two, but if you believe HIAG was banned purely because of Ossie and Robby then you obviously weren't following it that closely. The board was split at the time between people who couldn't stand him being on here and people who didn't really care what he did. I still can't believe you defend him to this day . He's a bellend, and that's not an opinion shared by a minority. In the 3 or so years I've been on here, the Chelsea board has been nowhere near as busy as the Liverpool, Arsenal, United, Spurs, Newcastle, Sunderland or ones. There was only really a handful of regular posters, but they posted more regularly on here than the current regulars do.
Because the bit about HIAG was a throwaway tongue in cheek comment. The rest of it was my actual view on the thread. But now you have commented, so it is fine. Just to reiterate, I think the board is so quiet because of ludicrous aggression shown to outsiders. If Mods (including yourself in the past) had jumped on it, you might have had a more thriving board. Out of interest, where did the Chelsea posters on 606 go when it closed down? Not JA?
