Just back from Wembley. What a crazy game, what a crazy atmosphere! I thought Caroline Lucas wasn't leader anymore, someone else was? If UKIP are to be involved in the TV debates, so should the Green Party. Little Mix were alright, basically their music kinda fitted in with the whole pre-match show, er, ethos for lack of a better word. They were booed when they came on though.
Natalie Bennett is now leader of the Green Party. She gets a bit of stick (and possibly part of why she gets less coverage) because she was born in Australia.
So did nobody else run the Great South Run today? If you were there, I was the one dressed as an oompa loompa
Going back to the Lib Dems, the irony is that had the Tories got a majority and were disliked a bit more than they are disliked now, and with Labour also not liked, in 2015 we may have had a load of people voting Lib Dems and them getting around 100 seats and UKIP wouldn't be so much on the rise as they are now.
Poster on SaintsWeb found this Dutch interview with Koeman and then provided a translation. the video http://nos.nl/video/714306-koeman--k...de-harten.html Starts with them going back to When Poortvliet and Wotte were leading the and them saying that Staplewood was little run down. Goes on saying how far we have come and that we are second the in the league. Reporter says that unlike our modern redevelped training facilities (where they arent alloud to film) Southampton isnt like barcelone, then names a list of cities Koeman has worked. Koeman says he didnt expect to be here, and that Southampton is your typical English harbour city. reporter says some stuff of little intrest. Koeman goes on saying that the put up pictures of the players in the tunnel. Koeman says he changed the way the players train and that he has introduced the Dutch school of training. Koeman goas on saying that at the first training the positioning of the players and everything about the style and the way we played brought tears to his eyes. The team improved alot and there is more to come says RK. Reporter asks if we in England do stuff different, RK says he lets Sammy Lee do the pre match talk, who uses f*ck alot in it. Erwin Koeman goes on saying that RK has made a name for himself in a short time. Reporter says to Koeman, you want to beat Van Gaal, Koeman replies with yes. Koeman goes on saying that in the UK the manager invites the manager of the opposition round for a glass of whine. Then they go on about the Dutch national team. Reporter asks Erwin Koeman if he and Ronald have the same contract, Erwin says he would like Ronalds contract. Then Ronald says he likes working with his brother.

On the subject of your found Video, Fran. I haven't been able to play it. I think it has been withdrawn. However, there are a couple of other Koeman/Koeman Southampton videos on that site which are OK. Scurrying around on the Net to find a good viewing of that video made me look up Poortvliet, to see if his path crossed the Koemans. You may be interested to know that although Ronald missed Poortvliet by 3 years in the PSV Einhoven squad, Erwin was in the same PSV squad for several years as Jan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jan_Poortvliet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erwin_Koeman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Koeman I don't think Mark Wotte crossed anyone's path, except in opposition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Wotte
Apologies if mentioned but a 15 year old American boy shot dead a fellow pupil and fired at other pupils before turning the gun on himself. Horrific scenes and tragic news. Gun security really needs to be tightened in the States.
It is their second amendment; the right to arm yourself. Maybe they need to put an extra 'h' in that sentence.
Its such a ludicrous and antiquated law. Back when they were under genuine threat from wildlife, natives or British it made sense. These days it just causes harm. Wonderful piece by John Oliver on the daily show dismantling some gun nuts argument and showing how it worked wonders here in Australia after the Port Arthur Massacre
I think the second amendment is now viewed by some seriously nutty Americans as a way of protecting themselves against their own government and every other American. They are as mad as fundamentalist Muslims.
Cameron/Brown coalition talks Lib dems becoming a problem, Gordon. You make them look like **** and I'll make sure Ed wins the leadership election, cushty.
Alistair Bunkall - Sky News Defence Correspondent: "Breaking: all British and US troops have left Camp Bastion in a secret airlift that started at dawn."
I think Camp bastion was handed over to the Afghan army, so the Taliban should move in by next weekend!
