He played very well. Was a handful all game. Why wasn't Herrera playing? Surprised he didn't come on.
First half we played very well. Second half we were poor. Fair result. I'm sure the Chelsea players would say we're the best team they've played so far this season. RVP was dog****e apart from the goal. Fellaini played very well bizarrely.
This could be what UTD needed, play a very good team and get a point, ££££ game will now be interesting as all the next batch of games are winnable.* *Jinxed
Really didn't see that coming after how we played in the second half. Still think we were just about good value for the point. More importantly i do get the feeling results will eventually improve rather than the hopelessness of last season.
Got to give credit to Fellaini, grafted all match, as per his days at Everton. Just proves that Moyes played the wrong tactics, especially with Fellaini. Overall, a draw was a fair result, but the football from United was a massive improvement.
Surprised to see people saying Fellaini played "very well". He was efficient and did the simple things well, but there wasn't ever anything noteworthy in his performance...
Great game to watch. I think both teams played really well and dominated in spells. IMO a draw is probably fair. And Fellaini, he looks like a man reborn, good game from him even if he wasn't outstanding it was still a massive improvment. I also didn't think Van Persie was that bad, goal aside he still had a few good runs and touches. Should have squared the ball when he was 1 on 1 with Courtuois though.
Definately your best game of the season, so looks promising Di Maria?? What happened. UIR is he a 'Flat Track Bully'?
You are definitely a different United than last season. Under Moyes you had no fight whatsoever, but you fought till the last. I think a draw was a fair result, you edged the first half, us the second. Both teams were missing important first XI players too (Rooney and Costa), would have liked to have seen both teams at full strength but never mind Now do us a favour and take some points off City next week
That's exactly what United haven't had lately, a physical presence in midfield. Matic and co. would just bulldoze us, but not so much today. Fellaini was putting his foot in and making tackles or just giving a shove, now who exactly amongst our midfielders has the physical attributes to do that? Blind, Carrick, Mata and Herrera often get pushed around. Fellaini can add steel to our midfield if he has more clarity to his role.
As well as Oscar, Hazzzard was kept at bay for most the time, but he did look dangerous on some attacks
