What are your football "no-no's"?

I agree TSS, although my personal pet hate in grammatical terms is pundits using adjectives as adverbs, as in "he's done terrific there".

 

Oh no, I'd forgotten about those [not them] terms..!

 

I don't like childish "insulting" team names e.g.

Manure
Poopey

It is a bit pathetic in my opinion. Like something a 5 year old would come up with

 

Best not listen any of them `Arry interviews then !
