Hoping for wins for Everton Spurs and United.

United, I hear you say? Yip we've played them and a strong United beating teams is good for us imo. They play Palace Hull and Stoke in the next month or so.

We come up against an off form Arsenal......totally blow it. The Town come up against an off form Spurs.....get a result! For ****s sake! In a space of 2 weeks, from a position of relative comfortability in relation to league position and the town, to this???? I've said it a hundred times......Typical Sunderland!

It was a good time to play Spurs given that they played in the Europa League on Thursday. It just shows what a couple of wins can do in this league. Don't worry though mate, you've got us at our place in December and that's a nailed-on three points for you.

I think I should have learnt by now that i should never 'relax' when it comes to Sunderland! I should know that a total collapse in confidence is just around the corner. Its always the same and will never change! Our collapses are just so accute and massive its just unbelievable!

You keep saying this but do you really think we are the better team, I think it is too close to call, and I don't think six derby points are realistic for either side imo, I would settle for three points each at the moment. Well done today by the way, coming from behind is not easy in this league, its a pity we couldn't manage it yesterday as it was there for the taking.

    Thanks Clockstander mate <ok>

I think both sets of fans are as pessimistic (and realistic) as each other, but it's amazing what a couple of wins can do for you. We've suddenly shot up the league (well about five places) but are by no means out of it. There is a long way to go though and I'm sure Sunderland will get their season back on track soon. God knows what will happen when we meet in December but we are due a win......we haven't beaten you in the last five games :undecided:
