Can someone explain why Poch continues to persist with Chadli, Eriksen and Lamela who all make us so narrow up front, offering our opponents an easy defensive line? It baffles me why we consistently play so narrow. Lamela always comes inside, Chadli makes occasional wing runs, Eriksen lacks the pace and power to dominate in the hole - he's no Scholes. It's just glaringly obvious to me!
Adebayor and Lamela should be replaced by Soldado and Lennon, in my opinion. We've waited far too long, though. As I'm writing this, the second change happens.
It makes sense to play those players when you have two fullbacks who can provide the width. We do not right now. So he should have changed his personnel to reflect that. But he hasn't. Southampton fans have talked about his inflexibility and perhaps we are seeing it now.
Such a **** second half. Capitulated from the first second and the manager just watched it all happen. Several very disappointing individual performances and a setup which totally lacked width, again.

It's hardly surprising that Dier's not played well today, as he's out of position and playing constantly. League games, Europa League, England u21s and all out of his natural role. Should've been left out against Asteras, at least.
You wont like my suggestion...it only involves patience with poch...unfortunately I can see levy doing his usual and so the merry go round will continue
