    We've pondered in a couple of threads the situation with Chris David. At today's press conference Kit was asked specifically about his absence from match day squads and his answer was;

    "I pick the team to win the match and we’ve been in good form."

    I suppose he's not one to make changes for the sake of it, which after Magath is probably something we need. I suppose in the case of Rotherham away - although I don't necessarily agree with the "wet and windy tuesday night" cliché (the south east is hardly the Mediterranean, no matter what day of the week it is) - he wanted someone with a bit more clout. I'm sure he'll get his chance.

    I know we got a good point at Rotherham but what disappointed me was the wastefulness of the middle 3, Eisfeld, Hyndeman and Christiansen.

    Something didn't work with them but I can't put my finger on it. Perhaps David could have been a better choice over Eisfeld? He could have driven us on more positively.

    Kit is obviously looking for a settled team, with added players he knows will slot in.
    One has only to look at Leicester's 1st teams squad last season which was very small.

    Hello chaps, regarding David i do wonder if his penchant for the shot from distance rather than look to play another in counts against him.

    Welcome Crusty.

    There's this and also he always seems to want to hog free kicks; then he goes for the direct shot on goal, even when all but one of our defenders are cuing up for a header. Mostly the shot goes high and wide or hits the wall - he's got us caught out more than a couple of times as a result.
