Erm... the Geordie bloke isn't on Sky. Erik wasn't watching the game through Sky.

Yes... that's the most obvious thing that gives it away...

Great resolute performance. Brady is back to his best. What a group of players and staff we have at the minute.

He wasn't bad earlier in the season, he just hasn't had the chances.

I'd be disappointed if Robertson got straight back into the side next week, Brady was very steady today.

I think there's a strong case for finding room for both of them. Ben Arfa hasn't really grasped his chance yet, and Brady could fill that role...

Ben Arfa was the only player who looked like causing danger today. He's the best player in the squad.

He's been playing isolated in a formation he's not used to, in games where were struggling to keep possession and left to do a lot on his own. I say, give him some more support and let Ben Arfa flourish. Which incidentally would include finding space for both Brady and Robertson. 4-2-3-1 sounds about right.

I was thinking aloud earlier, but I'm inclined to agree with you. We need to give Ben Arfa time to settle in.

Brady and Ben Arfa should start against the Saints, Robertson to come on as sub to terrorise them when they tire. Bruce great today as well.

We've just seen City deservedly take two points from trips to The Emirates and Anfield. This was the stuff of dreams only a few years ago; we truly are lucky to be able to enjoy watching the current team. If we keep going with the same work rate and cut out the mistakes in difference, we could be in for a great season.

It was another Saturday 25th October, but in 2008 - was it really so far back!

This was a heady time, but was always destined to change and it did. This time we are far more solid and have shown that today - we had key players missing and we took a huge point away from home.

Nonetheless, raise a glass to then and now, both very special times, regardless of anything else. <cheers>

Edit: Sorry it looked great in the quotes! The link says it all though.

Lets not run away with ourselves - we got 4 points from the same fixtures in 2008
