5 points off top 10 points away from relegation places...........still plenty of games in the season.......Mick will get them on the training ground and sort out the mental lapses in the last 20 or so minutes maybe even set up more defensive again for a while to get a few clean sheets to help confidence...imo.

    Don't panic.

With respect Weighty, I'd have thought that what the last few games have shown us is that we should not go deeply defensive in the last 20 or so when 2-0 up, it's simply not working, is it?

We take our foot off the opponents throat at 2 0 and we sit too deep allowing them to come onto us! We got away with it against Wigan but the warning signs were there alright! At 2 0 you have got to score the third and put it to bed. I completely agree with Welly...

Didn't mean in the final 20 I mean more changing from 433 to say 442 from the outset, it's not worked for the last few games but with some coaching I'm sure it could, I'm sure Mick will be as gutted as the rest of us and will try to address the problems Asap.

If you’re two-nill up with not all that long to go, what you want to do is control the game. If you’re already controlling the game there isn’t a massive problem until you’re not.

In scenario one and you find yourself needing a sub, ideally you need a like-for-like replacement. In scenario two the default positions are to either shore up the midfield, shore up the defence or identify the problem and change the in-game tactics to snuff it the hell out which may or may not involve a sub.

Obviously in all these situations you need a manager that can identify it and the players on the bench that are appropriate for all scenarios.

If MM & TC have been shoring up the defence (in the case of the nightmarish 94th minute equalisers) rather than the midfield, or whatever it was he was trying to achieve today (the quality of my feed was shocking) is it ineptitude or panic on his part or the quality of the bench (and the starting eleven, come to that) restricting the options?

We’ve improved no-end from the last two clowns, obviously, but at the moment we’re going nowhere but upper mid-table this season unless Mick can pull of one his miracles, or if it turns out Collinson, Ambrose and other signings we’ve yet to see can provide the quality, backbone and tactical nous we require to put up with the promotion candidates.

I’m still giving Mick leeway from the utter chaos of the last two characters.

Too right I totally agree that scoring a third is good way to go or even a forth.

I'm just soooo thankful that the fat bastard didn't score for them!

At 2 2 you could just bet that old Grunt would score the fecking winner!

I would like to see Henshall, Stewart or Ambrose on the bench to give us a different option. I saw the bench today and wasn't impressed with it.

What's happening with Collison I'd of thought he could come on and put his foot on the ball and get some composure.

I wouldn't bloody mind so much but the Budgies are on a dire run of form and we can't even get ahead of them!

Something different at least Weighty. Making the Tabb/Ando sub hasn't worked lately.

Goldy has nowhere near hit the heights this season which is also a real concern!

Maybe his head has been turned....

I can not believe that Grunt Hog is still playing at 54 years old and 22 stone.

His ability is never in doubt though. His ability to mug off referees. You'd think the grass was edible, the way he makes a bee-line for the turf.

Leeds have just sacked their manager after 6 games in charge! <laugh>

That's the second manager they have sacked this season and we are not out of October yet! <yikes>
