My understanding was we offered the same as Bournemouth both bids accepted for Wilson but he chose them. Seems pointless bringing it up now .
Though with due respect to Ruddy, they haven't had a shot on. It's all very well wishing what if with Wilson, but the bottom line is he has played virtually every minute of their season and is near enough their only goalscorer. Our problem is we are struggling to get that first goal, it doesn't matter who scores. If we managed that earlier, teams would open up against us and we'd have a chance of a hatful. I'm sure someone will throw the Leeds match at me where we scored first, but we were desperately unfortunate to concede virtually straight away to a very good strike on that occasion. Exception proving the rule and all that. We need to find a way to break down these disciplined teams. It may be that we need to go even more hell for leather at the start
Yes the hell for leather is the way - we must be able to do this for more than the 2 minutes at the start...
I still believe we will win i have faith in Adams and his selection .The 2 wingers Murphy and Red man didn't work and Lafferty is a liabillity with his tackling so ruled himself out .
My computer froze with the ball on the line from Jerome's header only to buffer into a corner. Painful
Results from the teams around us are going our way with the exception of Ipswich. Could really do with a sneaky 1-0 win to move us back up the table!!!! According to the BBC match report, we've had 6 shots on goal and 4 on target - much better odds. Pleased to see NA made significant changes to his starting 11 today!!!
