Blatant foul on Sterling that, but it does annoy me when players grab hold of the ball the second the hit the deck like it's a divine right to a free kick - Sterling does it alot. One of these days, they'll get booked for a handball.
When Sterlng creates goals from quick free kicks like against QPR he has every right to grab the ball and start looking for options when the foul is so blatantly obvious
MUCH better from Balotelli. A run, an actual run behind a defender! Low and behold, the ball is passed through to him and he has a great shot. Maybe now he'll realise that's what his job is and do it again.
Actually, he doesn't because the whistle hasn't gone yet. Until the whistle goes, it's still handball, irrelevant of if a foul is about to be given or not.
Maybe for the first 20 minutes... He's not making great movements, and he drops deep, meaning there's nobody to pass to when you get near the box. In the last few minutes he's been putting himself in better positions. Needs to keep that up. Personally think he should be hooked. Liverpool should have had two penalties thus far, but otherwise, they've been really poor.
I mean it's Balotelli. It's less than 1/10th of the effort Hendo puts in, but it's better than usual I guess.
our passing is woeful, it's what's killing our game. slows us down so much with players passing back, missing passes, and dwelling too long.
That's just been summed up. Winger passes it into a great area for Balotelli to play a 1-2 and create space, and Mario's so busy lollygagging on his heals the defender manages to not only get to it first and snuff out the danger, but basically WALK AROUND MARIO to get it. ****ing pathetic. Get him off please.
If I were Brendan, I'd make them wear those oranges... It's not a totally bad game, but by heck the quality on display from Liverpool is rank.
