Waiting until we meet our fate on Monday evening, can relax and watch a few games as a neutral. West Ham are so far managing Man City very well, 1-0 up, should be more. Man City coming back strong though, but have missed a good couple of opportunties to equalize, hitting the post & cross-bar. Whatever people say about Big Sam, he's brought in some great players and built a strong squad for this season's campaign - quite the turnaround from last season. Winston Reid & James Collins doing well in central defence and Sakho & Valencia (what a great pair of signings), doing their usual thing up front - about 20 mins to play. Goal line technology gives WHU a deserved 2nd goal! Man City roar back, 2-1 now - very good goal - David Silva
West Ham are 4th and Southampton are 3rd - both 'winnable' games we got well beaten in. Does the form of these teams suggest we were unlucky with the fixture list?
I think it suggests that the league is very strong this year, which isn't good news for us. There may only be 3 or 4 other teams that could possibly finish below us.
For the record...Wet Spam lookled good, City had an off day but still looked like they could score. decent game too Southampton game is quite good. love watching Hughes lose
Notts County winning and top three if it stays like this. What a job Derry is doing. Would anyone swap an inexperienced Derry for Harold I wonder?
I'd be happy with him and a few others as straight swap for Harry. It would be a challenge for TF to do worse, but I am afraid he might.
At least Leicester playing at Swansea look worse than us right now they could easily be more than 1-0 down. Poor old Birmingham, managerless, hammmered 8-0 at home to Bournemouth, who despite always selling their top strikers always seem to find more to rack up the goals.
