I was drinking a bottle of wine and a couple of beers every night, have cut that down to 5 nights a week now, I manage a couple of days a week with just beer (3 or 4). It's too much but it helps me get through life. Don't think there's much chance I'll ever start drinking more than that. 7 or 8 on the scale.
Had to stop tripping after a real bad one then i don't know if it was glandular fever or the pot but started having panic attacks so stopped that too.
I'm up and down - can have a week where i drink 6 or 7 pints each nght or can have nothing for weeks. My boss was lecturing me about stress and depression the other day and just casually dropped the word alcoholism into the conversation. 10 years ago it woul have had me running to the nearest boozer but I didn't succumb this time. Think that means i'm definitely an alkie
