http://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/news/ashton-gate-stadium-chief-of-stadium-operations-announced/ We are doing our own catering from 2015. So quality and service should be a lot better.
Hopefully he can get some quality food at the gate, presently it is absolute junk, how they can ask the prices they do is criminal. I will not spend another penny in there,we were spending on average food and drinks thirthy pounds a time,Bedminster is getting that now, what with all the lovely bistros up there.
Yes, it does seem that everything is geared up to providing a "quality service" (see my other post re various other current issues) when the new stadium is already underway. The problem is that in the meantime customers will be lost. If you know anything about marketing it costs 7 times as much to "recruit new customers" than it does to retain existing ones. It seems a trick has been missed here. Personally I never eat there but several other aspects about the merging of the Football and Rugby were not seen as urgent. No doubt the prices will soar!
Exactly, if they don't buy they will have to improve it.? We all know the catering is constantly criticised and its not gonna change until the stadium is completed so don't eat it till then.!
Important announcement from Bristol Sport. 'This week we informed Centreplate, our current catering providers, that from the end of this season we will take all of our catering in-house.' Centreplate is in fact Lindleys Catering.. http://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/news/ashton-gate-stadium-chief-of-stadium-operations-announced/
