I'm going for a draw. But we have a good chance to win this. If Robbo's out I'd prefer Liam in at LWB rather than Brady. Hopefully Hudd comes through if not Meyler. We'll need a lot of cover and running in there today. I'll give HBA another go today. Get him fitter. Lets have a right go at these today. I hope Rodgers sticks with Balotelli as Lambert always seems to do well against us. Jak Chezz Bruce Davies Elmo Rosy Meyler Jake Diame HBA Hernandez
Screw OLM and his attempt to grab .... wait a sec, fook you Tuck! Seems bloody weird being up normal time, huge game on....and...not going. Still, I guess the old fella's 70th is worth not travelling to Liverpool for 4 hours is worth it. If we win I get to take the piss out of me brother, and if we lose I can rely on the trusty old *oh cmon, we're just little old Hull, you should be beating us*. I can't decide what I think will happen with this, I realy fear they will turn up today and prove a point to the doubters (Liverpool, not us), but as it's me dads birthday, I'm going for us to score as many as we did against Luton on his 60th. So, 0 - 3 we're gonna win, Elliot will score a couple.
I am going for a draw also, though with a bit of luck and rub of the green we might just snatch a win. Edit: I would go for Rossy in place of Robbo.
I don't mind Liverpool and Leeds supporters, but there's nothing worse than a Hull Red or Hull White. 'an an an I'll tell ya onestly I wud luv it if we beat them' rub their faces in it city!
Liverpool are my 2nd team, and we need to start getting the points on board if we're going to make the champions league again. Hoping for a pool win come on you reds!
Brady should definitely get the chance in his best position. I think he's done well when he's played this season. I can smell blood with this one. Although when we beat them last season they were in top form, so I hope the opposite doesn't happen!
We could have five first team players out and as far as I know Liverpool don't have any major injury concerns. Liverpool have been leaking goals, but so have we. They are at home and will be smarting from the defeat against Real Madrid. Our players didn't have a mid-week game so we should be fresher. I'm usually a hopeless optimist but I'm preparing for a 4-2 defeat today.
we (hull) will lose today I'm sure of it, whenever we play a team that needs to pick themselves up they always do it against us. I'll bet ban on telly will score some sort of really impressive goal and we'll just be toothless struggling to string two passes together or get a shot on goal.
Merseyside has not been a happy hunting ground in the Premier League for both club and manager. 6 previous visits to the area by City has yielded 1 point(against Liverpool) and the manager has visited there for 1 win(against Liverpool) in 14, including 6 draws, in his management career. Would love a point but can only see another loss today.
I'll be there today. Anfield is one of the nearer grounds for me. I've seen all of City's Premier League matches there but I've always had to sit in the Centenary Stand! This is my first time in the away end. I'm hoping to avoid defeat. Anything else is a bonus. This is still Liverpool at Anfield. It won't be easy.
Are we playing Liverpool? Are we actually sure about that, because all I've seen in the media is talk about Liverpool, hardly a single word about us....balotelli this and that some **** about mignolet, some more balotelli bollocks and that's about it!
