Jimbo. I'm not debating that. Some people suggest that Liverpool are light-years away from the title,as they don't have enough good players.Man City have a squad thats lets be fair light-years ahead of the rest. However they are poorly managed. They definitely have a better squad than United yet United won the title. The reason...good management.I still believe that will speed up Liverpools progress for success. As they are lets be fair are better managed than City. However,I still feel that a couple of years back,Ferguson wouldn't have tolerated what Rooney did.He would have got an earful...not a payrise.
I don't fully understand why Sir Alex treated Rooney differently to how he has treated others but it worked, he helped us win the title. Man City have a strong squad but I don't think it's a very well balanced squad and there isn't a great harmony between their players, and as you say they aren't managed very well.
And I am wondering if he is still capable of winning another title. I note that you still haven't reponded to the points that I raised in my original post and how they support my contention.
Nah! Did my first degree in Stoke. The day I arrived the place was called North Staffordshire College of Mines and Technology. The day after it was called North Staffordshire Polytechnic. Now its called North Staffordshire University. As for the latin I didn't do it at school but as my degree contained law they made me do a crammer in latin - still don't understsnd why!
I'd make a funny looking Bambi - though my legs do go wobbly after a few too many ciders and don't work at all after a few too many rums
Oh no little slim hoe doesn't like me..i'm hurt. Rather be me than a total roger hunt like you him hoe
I still don't think there's too long before AF quits, surely he can't go on for much longer. His health will start to suffer if he continues much past his time, and he could drag the club down with him if he starts to make the wrong decisions.
