Let's just for a minute say that Arsenal don't sign anyone this summer (for whatever reason), do you think that your current side are good enough to challenge for the title or even finish in the top 4 next season?

Why would we entertain the idea that we wouldn't sign anyone, when Wenger and the club have said they will? We know we need to strengthen, so we will. Which, should ensure that we make a better challenge for the title next season.

With Vermaelen fit and able to form a partnership with Koscielny, with Szczesny having half a season experience under his belt, with Wilshere and Ramsey continuing to improve, with a fit and free scoring RvP, with Pedro Botelho, Francis Coquelin and Kyle Bartley coming back after successful loans...

Yes top four would be achieveable and a title challenge isn't that unthinkable.

We would be better off not replacing them like for like.
Firstly we should replace Clichy with someone good defensively, and who actually has an impact offensively.

Secondly, selling Cesc and Nasri should spark a change in style. Replace them with more robust, atheletic CMs, get proper wingers and a striker who can play alongside RvP or be a good replacement for him when needed.

Thats why I am sort of pleased Nasri is likely to follow Cesc out the door.
If Cesc left and Samir stayed I would envisage Wenger would simply just play Samir in Cescs position and the style would stay the same, just with a not as good fulcrum.

Well Rangers REALLY want Bartley back on loan - so he's probably better than many of the others there. However, don't know if that helps you judge how good he is !!

How about Curly? my old dustman used to always be eating a curly wurly on his rounds. Terribly unhygienic I know, but then Berba is also bald, so the name would be a little ironic I guess - any other suggestions?
