No way, whatever Balotelli's faults, Eto'o is truly vile and I was about ready to stop following LFC for a season (he only has 1 left in him) when he was linked to us

Vile?

How can you describe a bloke like Eto'o as 'vile' and yet defend a total blooter like Bellendtelli?

Sums you up that comment

A completely unsubstantiated rumour is that Rodgers binned the Remy transfer, blaming a failed medical, when he heard Balotelli was available. Remy is currently injured which would mean Rodgers would be forced to play Lambert. Balotelli is currently fit and ready for action.

Completely untrue. He could choose to play Borini :p

Balotelli is a lot of things but can't see why you'd say he was vile

He did a bad challenge on Suarez at Stamfrd Bridge so he might be getting at that

I believe there was one Liverpool poster that said we'd be better off with Eto'o rather than Balotelli #allaboutgreez

Dont write him off yet <laugh> Its gone so bad thus far it might actually turn out okay. I know history goes against him but honestly with Studge back I think he'll be a lot better as will the whole team. Its the hope that kills you!

Well, that's got me convinced.

so..... this is all fine excet for a problem with facts.

1. remy deal was reported off at end of july.

2. rodgers specifically denied any moved for badontelly before our milan friendly on aug 2nd.

the simple explanation is one of incompetence. LFc looked earlier in summer at badontelly on loan (stupid stupid move) then looked at remy, he failed a real medical. nobody sullies a players rep to get out of a deal, rodgers tells the truth on aug 2nd, fails utterly to get any target and turns round to milan and they refuse so he stumps up the full fee for mad mario.

that'd be a better wum story to fit the actual timeline.

LFC are nuts to have bought this clown so i'd wum on that if i were you <ok>

The club genuinely thought Luis was going to stay - such naive thinking and as a result, we had a scatter gun approach to replacing him. In the end, we targeted mediocrity and we signed mediocrity.

My girlfriend works at London property agency that rented Eto'o his flat last year.

He was a late payer, and his apartment was a rank mess when he left, dildos everywhere, I kid you not!

Eto'o head butted a journalist and broke his nose and did a Zidane type head butt on a player in Italy - that looks pretty vile to me!

At least he publicly apologised for sticking the nut on a reporter.

He's never laid a DJ out for refusing to stick on Phil Collins though......as I'm sure you'd also view the perpetrator of an act like that as 'vile' as well <whistle>

Anyone see Lamelas goal for the Spuds last night?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSZkBQwqQ6I

He caught it that well, I thought he'd hit with his right foot at first!!!

The way people were banging on about it at work I was expecting something outrageously good. It was good, but not like people (Spurs fans) were making out. Someone even said it was the best goal ever scored in football <doh>
