My niece asked me for a pet spider for her birthday, > so I went to our local pet shop and they were £70!!! Blow > this, I thought, I can get one cheaper off the web.
Due to the economic crisis, Greece is cancelling production of humus and taramasalata...it's a double dip recession.
Ebola survivors. There are now approximately 5.000 people who have survived Ebola in West Africa. Apparently they are being shunned, dis-believed and attacked in their local communities. If it is the case that they are now immune to Ebola, why has nobody suggested that these are the people who should be trained as the primary carers for new patients? As I understand there is no actual treatment apart from keeping the patient comfortable, clean, fed and hydrated. They could be trained to do this and paid an excellent wage (which would be fed back to their communities). Also being treated by a survivor must be a great psychological boost.
Surely contributions to the EU are set to a % of GDP, which is estimated at the start of the year and revised when actual figures become avaliable. Therefore if you do better in GDP then originally expected you pay more, if GDP goes down you get a rebate. Simple. Nothing to argue about. Blody media and polticians building the hype to aid their agendas. Now if you don't want to be in the EU and pay anything, that is a different argument. We sorely need a snesible debate on this matter. However I seriously doubt the intelligence of the general public to have the ability to see the benfits and disadvantages with the papers clouding the issues.
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/lunatic-s...e--risking-huge-explosion-123313085.html?vp=1 Man starts a fire by sticking petrol soaked rag up a nozzle in a garage forecourt. Member of public puts it out with a fire extinguisher. This lunatic needs to be locked up...not in a prison, but in a mental ward. He will always remain a major risk to the public.
It's a good society. We had a film showing yesterday, of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The girl saved me a seat next to hear and she like waved me over as I was late. Which was nice. But we seem to get on really well, we can just chat for ages about anything and everything and just joke around. Just really enjoy spending time with her. I should have used that argument when the SLC wanted me to pay back some of my loan as they paid me too much.

What is going on at Rangers and how did they get in this mess? Surely not only because of their illegal tax avoidance scheme. The latest person (King) wanting to take over has abandoned it for the moment. Ashley has offered a loan as they are in such dire straits...does this mean he is really keen on the club and what does that mean for Newcastle. Now a third person (previously part of the Blue Knights consortium) has come back in.
