He was our one true great striker again last season.... In fact for he he was the best in the promotion season a bit of a unsung hero... worked his socks off and laid so many on for Beckford. A great traditional CF ...reminds me of Chapman but Becchio can run I know every palyer has a price but i dont think Larry is that stupid to sell him. i think Snoddy will stay still think max will go and im still sure a few rabbits to come out of the hat.... But i dont get why we are waiting surely better to have a settled squad and get your players in early pre-season? like to think a LB CB DM to come in this week

Nah, Becchio signed a new contract in January. Even if Swansea have interest, I doubt they'll follow it up with a bid. And will people stop believing ****ty rumours written in the Sun and the Daily Mail!
To be fair the Mail reported Leicester were in for Kasper before anyone else had an inkling so there could be something in it though I don't think Becchio will be going anywhere. In fact I don't think we'll lose any more players before the season starts. Its a positive that our players are wanted by other clubs.
Then why would he spend £7m (and more soon) on an East Stand extension which he knows won't make him any money whatsoever? He's not in it for the money. There, I said it. He signed a new 3 and a 1/2 year contract in January, so I'd think again. If Bates was just going to sell our players off like that we'd have accepted the £3.5m for Snoddy.

The fact you have smaller attendances,a smaller fan base,a smaller ground,less history,less honours & a smaller away following makes you an inferior club,albeit it a better team at this moment in time.
