    Stay

Leaving the EU would be economic disaster and anyone suggesting we should is either a **** or a ***** or probably both.

Whilst it it unfortunate that we are adjudged to owe an extra £1bn or so, the pro's outweigh the cons in my opinion.

Only a deluded racist ****wit would think Britain stood a chance of going it alone in a global market.

Unfortunately, the UK is full of those (especially outside London where most of you ****ing peasants live).

Only a small-minded, xenophobic ****wit would take their country out of a Union where the majority of its trade goes.

I would ahve said we should saty but having now seen how racist the European Commission is I have to say no. What's the point in being multicutltural if you;re going to be penalised for it at every turn?

"The European Commission has reviewed the economic performance of all member states since 1995, and revised its economic statistics to take greater account of things like income from the black economy."

I'm literally stunned that we've excluded the economic output of the blacks for so long.

    This is true.

I've said the same from day one, the Tories/UKIP MP's/MEP's who want us out of Europe will now be using the same arguments that the Yes were using during the referendum, and the SNP will be using the same arguments that the No camp were using when they state their case to stay in the EU.

The logic of the SNP, leaving the UK and joining the EU was a bit skewed for me, but the economic reality in the UK is that the vast majority (geographically) of people outwith the SE are financially worse off due to the Londoncentric policies of successive UK Governments and Scotland would be financially better off being independent, I believe.

London is showered in taxpayers money to fund countless infrastructure projects, meanwhile the rest of the nation is dripfed a fraction of what it should.

The replies on here have been encouraging. I think if the public get properly informed it will be no contest - hopefully there is no Scottish-devo-max style panic deal to restrict free-movement in the build up though...

The apathy worries me a bit Mick. The most incredible thing about the Scottish referendum was the voter turn out. Had it been lower i would have expected a yes vote on the (maybe false) assumption that people who want change are more likely to vote. If we get a low turnout in an EU referendum (and I see no reason to think we won't) I suspect we'll be pulling out.

Get out of the EU now. It's a stitch up between the smelly frogs and the Bosch.

Europe has done **** all for Britain and never will.

China is the new market which we should be targeting.

We could still deal with Europe just like the Norwegians do.
