CTWD are not unwelcome at the Club. The Club work with a number of groups and individuals including CTWD to try to satisfy the varied demands from us fans as best they can. They were as helpful as they could be with some issues I've raised individually and I'm aware of others that have approached the club. I think sometimes that goes unreported, and I'd say I'm as guilty of that as most. This thread was set up for members to discuss the aims and objectives of the group. Asking for clarification on one of the aims isn't shouting, It'd be foolish to agree to something I didn't understand.
I'm not rejigging anything; that's a lazy cop-out. You come across as if you believe you do and CTWD don't. You talk about other methods, groups, whatever, as if you are aware of what they are, so explain, in outline at least, what they might be. Members of the CTWD committee read these threads, so enlighten them and me both.
I'll return to your repeated question to OLM (in a fashion) - was it officially CTWD who approached the club, or was it one or more individuals using their private connections. CTWD might want to offer clarity on this as it is central to the what has been portrayed as the level of communication between CTWD and the club. Until they have a complete and signed off draft policy for initial release to it's membership, I don't see what there is to understand. As far as I am aware once that agreement is set in stone the membership will be invited to renew their membership and new members sought - isn't that the point where we all will be able to agree or disagree?
I have no idea what this 'repeated question to OLM' is, as I've not particularly asked him anything. I've asked CTWD for a bit more information on how the trust will work so that I'm clearer on the aims and objectives that are posted for comment. If I've repeated that, it's probably in answer to one of your points. As for who approached the club, that's for CTWD to answer, but my understanding is that the club asked for anyone interested to get in touch so they could arrange a series of meetings. Some individuals that got in touch were also on the CTWD committee and attend. As I understand it, this is narrowing down to a specific group of people as time goes on. The people seem to represent a variety of groups and individuals, including CTWD and I reckon if anyone had a specific issue they wanted to raise personally, there'd be an attempt to accommodate them.
OLM gave you answers, he always has, often the same ones because you ask the same questions; but the one I referred to was your insistence on knowing if the answers were from him or CTWD. So, in the same way, I have asked you was it an individual or the group who communicated with the club; nothing more than that.
How about a summary as i see it. Assam Allam said a long lime ago that he would welcome some form of fan ownership type thing. Due to name change plan CTWD formed. Campaign ran a while FA said no to name change. CTWD with nothing to do picked up the ball Mr Allam put out, fan ownership. Existing but dormant supporters trust approched with a view to merge/partner with CTWD to become active. CTWD members meeting held, supporters trust idea put forward, members said go for it, commitee apointed. Limbo time ( now ) while said commitee put together something ( taking on board ideas put forward by fans through various communication forms ) for members to agree to / vote for. Future, another members meeting. No need for all the nit picking, for now a broad outline is what we need, the details and gaps will be filled in a time progreses.

I thought you were desperately hunting for an opportunity to hurl something like that in, so being dismissive amongst a thread full of me trying to fathom your point and answer your questions seemed apt.
This - was it really so hard? So, again, was it CTWD the club worked with or an individual in their own right? We have been led to believe the club do not talk (officially, at least) to CTWD.
Was what so hard? Led to believe by who? CTWD often speak to the club. It's a number of posts on here!! But why that's MY question is beyond me.
To be honest, I haven't read any of the essays you and Fez posted tonight. I am quite annoyed that nobody answered my question about the black and amber origin myth though.
Can't be rare and unique. The fact is that other club's have played in black and amber. Not many admittedly.
