    Bloody hell.

Moving in more refined circles these days I'd totes forgotten the Harry Roberts chant, don't cha know.

It's stuck in my bloody head now and will be for ages.

I'm internally humming it as I type.

    Thanks for that Hat.

    Actually can one internally hum?

Does humming involve a vibrating sound?

Is there such a thing as a non vibrating sound?

Bloody hell. See what you've started inside my head.

BTW. Just to keep on topic.

It's probably time he was released. On licence. Quick recall if necessary.

You don't have to be the one who came up with it to condone it.

    Is it still not mutual?

Number of police officers killed in the US on average a year 100.

Number of people killed by the police in the US on average in 750 of the 17,000 police precincts that voluntarily submit data to the FBI, 400 a year. Estimated number of people killed by the police in the US on average per year at least 1,000.

Maybe it is in the US, where any silly c**t can get hold of a firearm.

Europe doesn't have a perverted cultural fetish with weapons like our transatlantic cousins.

Apparently, British coppers only fired their weapons three times in 2013; they killed nobody.

I'm not surprised they didn't hit anyone if they never fire their weapons in practice.

Any silly ****? Now now, not just ANYONE can get an ak47, only one who has cash, or a credit card, or a check book and has not been convicted of a felony and is 18. Unless they buy them from a gun show then its just one who has cash, a credit card, or a check book. Also unless they steal one as pretty much every home in the US has firearms inside. So you see not EVERY silly **** can get a gun.....

Probably get told of for this but needs to be said. Last year there was incident when the police shot and wounded two members of the public. When really they should have filled them with so much lead they would have needed a forklift to remove the bodies.

Are you going to explain why, or are you just leaving it at that?

Did they kill someone? Did they rape someone? Did they nick some goodies from the local newsagents?

EDIT: You're talking about Woolwich. Gotcha.

I recall singing, "Harry Roberts is our friend" as a stupid and rebellios kid. With hindsight, I regret it, feel somewhat ashamed and consider it totally disrespectful to the mostly diligent, hard working and caring "plod." On the other hand I have been treated like **** for no reason by the "Peelers" and so I was happy to sing, "Who's that twat in the big black hat, scuffer, scuffer ..."

My favourite was at Ayresome Park (early seventies) they wouldn't let any youth into the ground if they were wearing boots (had to take them off and leave them outside). I saw this copper (traditional helmet) confront a kid who was about 14 and wearing huge boots and he said, "do your feet go to the end of those boots." The kid brilliantly replied, "does your head go to the top of that hat."

Anyway, I ****ing hate the Boro as dozens of the bastards chased me down the Linthorpe Road for stupidly wearing my black and amber scarf in public after the game. I am pleased to report that I escaped unscathed.

From the Independent - 'Criminal justice experts have suggested that he may use an assumed name to hide his identity.'

What a good idea. Never thought of that. It's a good job we have these experts.

I bet he's never in a long queue if people know his true identity.
