    Tbf as much as there's rivalry the poor ****ers were beaten by French thugs then tear gas from the police, the bloody French are a bunch of nutters. Just cuts and bruises so glad no one was seriously injured.

    Not sure what actually happened, only article I have seen which explains what happened is the Liverpool Echo, which I wouldn't trust as far as I could throw them.
    Especially when it comes to reporting stories regarding Liverpudlians.

    Went from getting hit with batons, to tear gassed, to being shot in the space of an hour. For no reason?

    Not sure, I dont know whats happened.
    I went from finding it funny because I thought Everton fans were being thugs, to hearing that they were innocent and attacked by 100 hooded frenchman and feeling bad, then back to laughing my ass off because the Echo keeps escalating what happened, to truncheons, then tear gas, to being shot.

    Whats next, "French police raped Everton fans"?

    Clarification on earlier tweet. Man was hit in head and knocked down by tear gas cannister NOT rubber bullet.

    I should apologise to any Everton fans though, I posted too early without knowing enough....

    ( So did the Echo by the look of it, hence their retraction of the guy shot in the head )
