He'd stopped tracking back a good ten minutes before coming off too. There were a few that could have come off but with the game over as far we were concerned it was about maintaining the scoreline. Coutinho wasn't going to prevent Real scoring any more. At least Sterling was still tracking back.
Does anyone remember the obvious foul on Sterling that should have given us a free kick in a very dangerous position? It wasn't given. Special from Gerrard and a totally different result would have been forthcoming. We were robbed by the ****ing ref 10. 9. 8. 7...................
yes arbeloa should've got a yellow but it was much too far out for gerrard to convert... casillas is muck mind. really bad decision that but again... that should've been carte blanche to lfc to kick lumps out of them.
he stopped tracking back in the first half!!! he was only playing when the ball came to him. sterling tracking wasn't stellar by any means either.... we let garry neville call it like he saw it and i always want to hear him grinding his teeth praising not being able to have a go.
I've not even taken the piss, and it's not ironic at all, you got bummed in a big game, hardly a shocker if other fans have a giggle at that like. Not like you'd do the same if roles were reversed either is it?
true but having a giggle is hard when most reds fans called it in advance... more of a satisfied grin i'd say... you playing tonite? waiting for UiR cos all we need say is who'd you play again?
You lot and your manc mates aren't even in the ****ing thing. Feel free to take the piss when you are. Until then......
if lille bum everton is that worse than the european champions and galacticos taking it eeasy one us.... lille are nobodies but so are.....
What difference does that make? You got schooled on 'one of dem special European nights' that the media have been fapping themselves over all week. It was great to watch, get over it love
Why don't you take your bitter blue head and shove it down one of your 15 bogs in your mansion (with two acres) in Wooltown. And while I'm at it, there's only one English team that ever had a pact with the devil and it isn't us lot.
Behind the losing CL finalists and a losing qtr-finalist (who were put out by the losing finalists) Only 2 can play in the CL final! 1 Spain 85.999 2 England 72.534 3 Germany 69.843 4 Italy 57.176 5 Portugal 56.549 That's a big gap between 1st and 2nd.
Looking forward to the game later, will be interesting to see the performance of Lukaku and Origi in comparison.
Maybe the Belgium coach (still Wilmots?) will use this one game to see who gets to start for Belgium.
