Im sure this will spark alot of debate! Can we leave out the term "Plastics" thou please lol http://www.swanseacity.net/page/Latest/0,,10354~2385031,00.html
Seems like the fairest way to do it! Is it cash or do they take 'plastic?'.......There we it didn't last one post lol
All done online with PLASTIC! Reckon interest in away season tickets will outstrip supply despite the initial £500 + £200 + £200 (less any refunds in April).
thats £900+ for 19 games. which comes to £47 per game. Thats expensive if you ask me. Will definitely go for the membership scheme though. Couldn't hurt.
Welcome to the premier league Rhys £900 is a lot though, to think I got my season ticket for a third of that and that is for 19 games also
As yet our club has not had list of prices for our 19 away games so can only roughly estimate how much the total cost of our games will be. They have therefore set a figure of £500 upfront plus two further payments of £200 (on Dec 1st and Feb 1st) making a total of £900. I very much doubt whether it will cost that much so say for example when they work out the final figure to be £800 we will get £100 refund on April 16th 2012. Am not sure yet how they intend to give us each ticket prior to games, they may post them out individually which might incur extra costs so that might be taken into account as well. An initial £10 membership fee will also be paid on Monday or on the day of registration.
So, the recession isn't so bad after all if fans can afford a home season ticket, an away season ticket and all that travel to away matches. You could buy a decent house with all the money. LOL. If someone goes to all home and away matches, what would be the minimum cost, including travel?
They have already taken plenty of plastic, don't see that changing!............... please log in to view this image
would love to join but no incentive for overseas fans, would like to see a system were overseas fans pay and get a shirt, scarf etc in return for their contribution. i would gladly pay 100 for that
There is a system where fans pay and get a shirt, scarf, etc. It's called the club shop. For £100 I'm sure they'd be delighted to send you a shirt and scarf.
Well I can't afford to pay for my son and & I after already paying for season tickets. We went to 15 away league matches last season and I know we'll miss put on some this season to people cherry picking games too. The £10 scheme is a joke, everyone can afford that and it's simply a way to get something for nothing from the fans as there's no guarantee of getting an away ticket.
So I joyfully signed up for a membership, my info was already in the database from previous ticket purchases, got my credit card "swiped" online, and then ... After my money was obtained ... was told by the web site that in order to activate my new membership I had to present a photo ID at the Liberty ticket office. Are they insane. I live 3500 miles away and it's not like I haven't collected prepaid tickets at the ticket office before.
I'd imagine there'll be a way around that, Yankee, if you send them a nicely worded email? There must be provisions for fans who live away.
Yankee, you not the only one. Tried more than a dozen times today to register and it won't let me. Through buying tickets via the ticket office I have an account number, so it won't let me register as I'm all ready done. Called the ticket office to be told they can't understand why I couldn't register, told me to send an e-mail then after re-sending it a reply told me to use the season ticket log in still no luck. Why can't anything be easy!!!!!!! I wonder now if I'll get to see any live games this season, not a happy chappy this evening.
There have been lots of fans struggling to log in, mine was ok but when I tried for a few friends it took about five or six attempts with some of their postcode passwords. I tried all ways and eventually one went through without the space between the postcode numbers because it was an SA10 code whilst the others did eventually go through so all I can say is keep trying.
