    I never update my smartphone. It doesn't need it and things can go wrong.

    Android updates are 99% ok. Apple on the other hand **** them up a hell of a lot.

    If I had a Iphone I wouldn't update it to 8.1 anyways, had calls from people with issues from it.

    - It seems to shorten battery life.
    - In some cases the phone keeps on trying to reboot.
    - Messes up wifi.

    Don't worry 8.3 will be out next year. <laugh>

    Call Apple, had a few people restart theirs and it wipes everything (just a black screen), may be nothing they can do tho.

    I have had an iPhone for years never had a problem whatsoever , I currently have the 5s and it's the best phone I have ever had.

    Htc M8 is the best phone about atm. But then I have never liked the OS of Iphones.

    the final OS update for any apple device basically bricks it so you have no option but to upgrade the hardware.

    that said, my jailbroken 3gs was fine until the hardware fell apart.

    I've always had a Samsung. Never had any problems with them and I'm very happy with my S4 mini.
