Well done. So people can see my statement is true. Are you finally seeing sense?? Or are you suggesting 100% of the posters there are 100% behind CTWD, it's vision and objectives? If you are, blimey. I'm quite proud I'm seen as an angel too, with a haloe (sic) and everything.
i read it too. nowhere is "haloe" used. the implication is clear that the haloes in question are self-installed in error. typical of you to misquote and misrepresent.
Kinell fellas. <stupid smiley> Those types of accusations and brand of rhetoric make me laugh. If you dont agree with CTWD, you are <insert your choice of expletive>. Wildly missing the point that this view alienates more people every time. Haloes indeed.
To be fair you can use halos as well. But the fact the word haloe didn't appear but Happy wrote haloe sic shows he has no idea what sic means Bet he doesn't know what a gerund is either, though he will Google it and pretend he does. Still, it will soon be December so he will have some spare time when City are playing to look these things up.
i looked at several online dictionaries because i find the idea of you being right and others being wrong a bit too surprising. only one didn't give both options.
I have a question. Without shares, therefore paying into the club, just how much influence do you think CTWD will have on the running of the club or more realistically, just how much influence will AA let you have?
I think it is generally accepted (on here numerous times) that AA will never accept CTWD onto his board - unless he is legally obliged to.
If you read the aims, you'll see that they state that CTWD don't expect our current owner to entertain allowing anyone onto the board.
In reality owning shares will not make a substantial difference to the influence CTWD will have in running the club. Its influence will come how well its seen as being the voice of supporters, or sections of our support and whether their suggestions benefit the club. Their influence may be enhanced by the Tory and Labour parties talking about increased fan participation in football clubs. Assem Allam will be gone by January, so it will also depend on the attitude of the new owner.
So does this trust basically boil down to a group of fans create a trust, then regardless of support or numbers, gets to put one of their ranks, presumably the chairman on to the board where they can affect decisions around the clubs running? At no cost? So the person who has actually created a successful business and club technically gives a percentage away to a group? Don't the trust have to raise funds and actually buy a share in the club?
