Exactly, I didnt want to harp on about Suso, but I watched the gut all last season and he never looked out of place against the likes of Barca and Real and he is very highly thought of in Spain. He has shown determination to suceed for us when he could have walked a long time ago. Even now he wants to stay, but he will not get a chance because of BRs arrogance about his own players. Ibe for Markovic is a no brainer for me. Wisdom aswell, ball player and defensively very solid. Its like BR wants to eradicate any memory of Rafa/Borrell at the club
Could we though? Who? We went for Sanchez, who we could really do with right now, he wasn't interested. Costa and Mhkitaryan turned us down the summer before. We enquired about Cavani, Falcao and Benzema according to the papers, and all of them urned us down (if you believe what you read). I'm not saying that the signings were great or anything, but I agree with Frank that getting the top drawer players is beyond us for now.

Not disagreeing with you about Suso but if he's so well regarded in Spain and thought so little of by Rogers why didn't some one buy him? Is there something else there? Arrogance is a bit harsh. I'm of the opinion that while he is a disaster it only build upon last years transfer windows that didn't improve us If you write a best 11 it's be pre Rodgers and Allen, coutinho and sturridge. That's all.... Maybe in time lovern and Moreno will make it 5 but mingolet will have to be replaced
I maybe wrong, but if Suso goes to AC Milan i believe we will regret it. Until he reaches the highest levels it is of course just opinion. I do believe he has the talent and the determination though, but all I have to back it up is my opinion.
Well if he goes to AC, although not what they were it will confirm he's rated as you say. Seriously, I'd love you to be wrong simply so we are not losing as good a player as you believe he is.
That's maybe true to a point, but maybe you didn't pitch yourselves in the right way or simply try hard enough with the level of player that were possible at the top end? You were in the CL 2nd in the PL and were off the back of playing some great football, you should and could have done much better in the market imo
Yep we were beaten by the current European Champions and yes deservedly so, we of course in our hearts hoped for an upset but they thoroughly deserved their victory. Our keeper and our defence need specialist coaching and Rodgers needs to kick arse bigtime. Stevie G should accept his age has caught up with him and pass that fact on to Rodgers, Balotelli should be given an ultimatum... get your head down and do what you're paid for or **** off in January and Mignolet should be replaced(great shot stopper but like Dracula he's **** scared of crosses), bottom line Rodgers needs to find the right formula/tactics to suit the squad pronto or he'll be under more pressure than a deep sea submarine.
