So pops... What you're saying is... Liverpool stole something and then simply claimed it as theirs?? And we are surprised why?

Besides that.... How bad are English right backs? Glenn Johnson is terrible. I honestly wouldn't want him at Sunderland

I thought Mignolet had another poor game as well ..... he won't last there.

    Borini was invisible.

Just been reading about Balotelli and his shirt swapping 'antics'. What did they expect?

Anfield's leader should have put 10 defenders out and hoped for the best but yet again, the blobfish idiot tries to attack, attack, attack. Well he got nothing less than he deserved, really it should have ended about 0-7 but RM let them off the hook. Brenda lives to fight another day and uses Mario Balotelli's shirt swap as a deflector, so the fingers aren't pointed at him.

It won't be long Brenda, there's nowhere to hide when the Kop want you out!

You obviously have a jaundiced view of Liverpool but there's truth in what you say.

Rodgers believed his own press and thought that he'd invented attacking football.

In reality he dropped lucky and that luck ran out when he signed Lambert & Balotelli.

He must be dreading the return match and so he should ..... the keeper is losing confidence week by week, Johnson, Allen & Gerrard played 90 minutes. Would any of those 6 players ever be signed by a top European side, I doubt it.

You can't have half a side, with passengers, and expect to progress.

The biggest thing to happen to LFC in 25 years was Suarez and they let him leave for money. They are desperate for the title and they let him leave for £70m. Gerrard is finished, he's lost everything he ever was now he just looks like a desperate idiot trying to win the one he could never win. He blew it, not Suarez, or Rodgers or The Kop, it was him and he'll never forgive himself.

I think he'll retire part way through this season if he carries on with such awful displays on the pitch, bowing out with a whimper.

He'd still be picked for England if he hadn;t retired though! And that is a cast iron guarantee

Hodgson would pick Neil Ruddock if he dug his old Liverpool shirt out mate. Saying that he'd do a better job than Jagielka.

On the subject of Jagielka... did you know David Moyes gave Nemanja Vidic a DVD to watch at home and told him to learn from it, it was a DVD of Phil Jagielka.

Therein lies the reason why Nemanja Vidic signed for Inter many moons ago, before Moyes was sacked.

Can you even believe that for a second?

<yikes> Nemanja Vidic - one of the best Defenders I have seen play in my lifetime - was told to learn to defend from a DVD of Phil Jagielka! Terrifying!

Maybe Moyes was hoping for the payoff!!

The few minutes when Hodgson was interviewed, after that disgraceful World Cup, and begged Gerrard not to retire will go down as my 'JFK' moment ........ the moment my last interest in the national side was shot to pieces.

It's pathetic mate innit, one of the most dominant defenders the world has seen in the last 10 years, won everything going, captained United for years... sent home to watch a dvd of a ****nugget who's never won a thing, a perennial underachiever who has never once been scouted by the elite teams.

Moyes was a crock of **** and didn't deserve another minute in his job as United manager.
