not much to say about that, very uninspiring against an average team

Hopefully it's Real. Yes, we would take a battering, but at least the opposition is not one we have played a thousand times. Would be something new.

And yes the midfield or Ramsey-Wilshere just does not work, Wilshere is so ****ing overrated, if he wasn't English he wouldn't be getting into this team based on the performances he has been putting in, **** me we didn't get Fabregas because we had so many good creative midfielders like Wilshere? Fabregas over Wilshere any day of the ****ing week, Fabregas on his bad day is more useful than Wilshere.

Another ''successful'' season of going out in the last 16 followed by a 4th place finish. Wenger is working miracles on such a tight budget. I mean, we only spent £100m this summer. The man is a genius.

Im sorry but Wenger needs to go, to be honest I probably get bashed for it. But I was hoping we would get 5th as that would be the only time when we get rid of Wenger. We keep getting 4th we keep Wenger and we go through this season after season.

The worst thing about watching this Arsenal side is that there doesn't seem to be any drive or desire to score. There's no endgame. If you watch Chelsea, City or any other top side, most passages of play end with a chance - whether that's a goal or a shot off target. Nobody in the team has the belief or guile (except Alexis) to craft a chance for themselves. They just offload it to another player.

Going forward we have been far more direct than in recent games and have had a decent amount of chances. At the back our positioning isn't great and the team seem a little slow to get back to defend in numbers.

Flamini has caused a few of our shaken moments and didn't look like he was up to the pace of the game at all in the first half hour. At the end he started to wake up and get some good blocks in but as suspected he is the weak link in midfield today.

A couple of there players are having great games, one of the defenders who has been running with Welbeck and that blonde reus lookalike. They are really up for it, there running and technique has been very good. A few of these youngsters at anderlecht are very talented.

It was good to see our corners actually connecting with arsenal players for once! Nothing concrete from one yet but at least the balls into the box are looking better.

We've scuffed a few chances and need to keep creating. I think we will score in the second half if we keep looking for the more direct ball to Sanchez and Welbeck.

Overall not a bad performance, anderlecht have a young, athletic and very energetic team who are giving chase all over the pitch. We need to show our class and take advantage of any gaps they leave when they go forward. On the counter we could do some real damage in this game as they aren't sitting back against us.

In the last twenty minutes or so I think they will tire and oxocube or Campbell, maybe rosicky will thrive from off the bench.

We need the 3 points and should be good enough to get them. Come on arsenal, get the result!

What game were you watching with us creating a decent amount of chances? We had zero shots on target, so have no idea what game you were watching in the first half.

Wilshere's forward passing has been abysmal.

He's become a parrot, read one of his half time reviews and you've read em all, it's always "yeah we have had a decent first half, it's been a good performance, good chances" after a while you just start seeing what you want to see to feed your false fantasies.

We might stand a chance against the big sides, our playing is so **** it might bore them to death or make them lose concentration because of how bad we are.
