Aye or no? What if it's 2 fellas? Transport chiefs have launched an investigation after a gay couple were reportedly thrown off a bus for kissing. Jack James, 23, said he and his partner were ordered off a number 89 bus near Blackheath in south-east London by the driver, who subjected them to a volley of abuse. James, an event co-ordinator from Greenwich, told the Evening Standard: âWe were chatting away when my partner gave me a peck on the lips. âThe bus driver shouted: âOi, you two, donât do that on my ****ing bus or you can get off, I donât want to watch thatâ.â James said that, initially, the couple thought the driver could not be speaking to them. He added: âWhen the bus stopped at our stop I walked up to the driver and politely asked the driver if he was talking to us. His reply was: âYes, itâs my bus, it is my rules, and I donât want to watch that. Itâs disgusting. Get off the bus.â âOnce we got off the bus we were fuming and I was shaking. The bus stopped again and he shouted and told us we were not real men and we should **** off.â http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/20/gay-couple-thrown-off-london-bus-kissing
A peck on the cheek is fine when meeting a friend or loved one. But full kissing in public is wrong. The sex of those involved doesn't matter at all.
What was the bus driver doing watching them anyway? I smell a latent, some repressed homo erotic feelings. I don't particulary enjoy watching anyone kissing but for a f**ing Bus Driver of all people to find some offence with two other human beings kissing is really rich. The idle bastard should keep his eyes on the road, probably sent a text message and read the Mail while he was driving too the gormless c**t.
People should be free to kiss if they want, even blokes. I won't particularly enjoy seeing it though, it still makes me go 'eww' when I see it on nights out or on tv (in the same way watching really old men kiss much younger women makes you go 'eww') - but I get over it.
As a rule of thumb, I'd say that any bum fun should be restricted to areas where washing facilities are readily available.
I don't see the problem with public kissing. And sexual orientation is not an issue for me. I'm fairly liberal in my outlook on life.
I agree Mick - i don't like it at all (though the imagination goes into overdrive if it's 2 nice young ladies but you rarely see that) but each to their own.
