Difficult match tonight. But as Rodgers said we have to win our home matches. To do that Ronaldo must be marked out of the game and we'll have to sacrifice one of our players. Which is fine. We have in the past raised our game for these top matches. My prediction is a 3-2 win.
don't see this.... if we try to take ronaldo out of the game via man marking we are 10 men. they will not mind one jot nor will they need to man mark any of ours so to score 3 would be a 1/50 shot for lfc tonight. scrappy 1-0 is the best i'd hope for.
For some reason, I think Johnson will have a solid game tonight. In fact, I think we'll keep a clean sheet and Mario will score - basically, the opposite of what everyone is expecting to happen. Don't ask me why because there is no logic but I just have that feeling. Re. Flanno - he's a very good back up and there's no way he should be ahead of Manquillo. Puts in a strong challenge every now and again but he's poo defensively and allows far too many crosses to come in.
Someone just told me that sky One have been showing a CL on Wednesday this season and that Liverpool were being shown tonight. Just checked and they've picked Anderlecht vs Arsenal #idiots
