    Police warned bystanders downtown that the shooter was still on the loose. The suspect is described as 5-9 to 5-10, overweight and wearing a dark jacket.

    Things have been hotting up recently in Canada regarding muslim extremists. I think an extremist killed a soldier recently in Quebec. I'd be surprised if it wasn't a jihadist.

    tweets: Eyewitness who saw shooting at Cenotaph from his office says youngish (30) Caucasian male, with black and white headscarf around his head..
    He adds: ...fired three shots, two from point blank range into soldier guarding Cenotaph. Then he raised his rifle and shouted something.
