Chippy I agree that the performance has gone down, but Sylvestre had a stormer - that double save off Lafferty and ?Redmond were top drawer - the commentator said it was like Banks
I must have been at another ground tonight then ! Sure I parked the car on carrow hill ? Don't believe everything Mr Gorham says ? He gets a little excited! I'll say again I can't remember any save of note.
The only thing I remember of their keeper was his bloody time wasting from the third minute onwards !! Seems to be a regular thing now with away keepers a at CR ?
I am getting increasingly frustrated/annoyed, waking up early to see we have only drawn at home - yet again, to a team well below us in the league. I think I am now beginning to question as to whether NA can get the goals flowing again.
Apparently Silvestri got man of the match. No surprise to see that as I think he has probably gotten about 70-80% of games played this season. We just seem to have lost any mojo we had last few games under darko. Really cannot see you guys not picking up the momentum again soon. And it also seems everyone in this league as usual are dropping points all over the place.
Pretty accurate summary and it is wide open. All it needs is for one of the teams in the top 10 to go on a bit of a run and put daylight between themselves and the rest of the pack.
I know i shouldn't menion it as Cromer already stated it is scraping the barrel for topics to talk about but Chris Martin is now on 10 goals and Derby look good value for auto spots at the mo'. (Cue a piano playing cat punfest).
Maybe you were watching a different match every match report mentions the Sylvestri saves! BBC: "Norwich were superior in the first half and the visitors had goalkeeper Marco Silvestre to thank for keeping the score goalless with saves denying Nathan Redmond and Alexander Tettey." Sky: "When play resumed, Kyle Lafferty was just wide with a snap shot, while Nathan Redmond brought a good save out of Marco Silvestri"
I got up at 3:20 to follow the last ten minutes of the first half and the second half on BBC text feed. Hooper came on as a sub in the 60th minute and that was the last time his name was mentioned. Was he so anonymous?
Yeah I got a similar impression on the radio - I think he wasn't helped by us resorting to crosses from out wide as we couldn't break them down through the middle. I don't think Hooper's really an impact sub type for when we're throwing everything bar the kitchen sink at the opposition.
We most definitely failed to win this game on account of Grabban's continual missing throughout the last 4-5 games in particular the penalty at Fulham. Such was his effect in dispiriting the group that they struggle to believe and question their own worth, It was once again all Grabban's fault, as is the recent Ebola outbreak, JFK's murder and global warming! Bah!
I think you're going a little bit too far with blaming Grabban here, GM. The evidence against Lee Harvey Oswald being the lone gunman is pretty sound.
Hi Chippy You can see it here: http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2014...is-amazing-save-and-adryans-assist-against-n/ The save at about 1.34 is pretty amazing as he's on the floor and digs out Lafferty's shot The appeals by the two Leeds defenders for Martin's goal are hilarious! You can see on the final replay at ground level that they crash into each other and Martin's nowhere near
On the plus side Hooper looked sharp. He didn't actually have the ball much shoot or score but his hair was very impressive.
