To be fair Dave the English Champions won 6 of the last 8 European cups, Forrest won two on the trott with no history of it and Villa won at their first attempt with no history of it. The fact is that ALL English clubs were banned - as we were banned for longer than any other club we felt the effects for longer. Now that is the only fact that exists. I am being fair. English clubs were banned. Now I'm totally sure that LFC did not do anything to cause the ban and they suffered even more than the other English clubs. Therefore the ONLY people who he can be bitter towards are those that caused the tragedy. As far as I remember, many of them did face the Belgian courts for what they had done. Now he wants to continue that bitterness towards both the club and present day supporters who were not even at the match! As I said earlier other clubs managed to re-ignite their European campaigns and it is the failure of the Everton board to do the same that is the true problem and should be the focus of his bitterness.
