    My view... and being fair.

    1. Cheslea. If this were last season yes I'd say a draw is possible but I feel mourinho will smell blood in the water and he won't go looking for the draw like he does do agaisnt big rivals. I think cheslea will roll out costa and with him, hazard, matic, and so forth they will be too strong. I see cheslea controlling the game in terms of possession and a 2-0 result. Utd could implode but as its at old trafford I expect utd to put up a show and di maria will play and be a threat. I don't thik he's that injured.

    2. City away? silva, aguero, dzeko v utd's defense? Kompany and yaya? At the eithad I cannot see utd get anything seeing they are bad on the road and city always want to whack utd. Now city played cheslea and got 1-1 with ten men. I cannot see city not playing well here. I'd not be shocked to see a 4-1 result. sorry utd fans (not sorry wums)

    3. Palace at home. This one is certainly one utd will want to be winning. palace results have been very mixed. I think utd will win comfortably as palace will fall into the trap of trying to be solid and not put pressure on utd. its the reaction after city and cheslea games you have to look for.

    4. Arsenal away.... imponderable. Really... arsenal are good. but not that good, inconsistent, defensive line for last year that really work has fallen apart. anyhting could happen. welbeck has a point to prove but seeing utd shirts against him... he could fold. I dunno... I thnk astro is right and a draw could well occur.

so: pessimistic view 3 points, optimistic 6 points.

That explains it! Can anyone copy threads to another team's board or is that a Moderator's privilege? The United board has a rivals thread already.

I think LVG is a point ahead of Moyes after 8 games. Given that Rodgers is in his third season and his team finished second last year I'd say that his start to the season has been poorer than LVG's. Really Rodgers should have an established, title challenging squad by now, not going backwards. Perhaps focusing on United is helping the Hashtag Kid ignore the realities of what is going on at Liverpool?

They had to spend over £150m though and still have a bang average defence. Always going to take time.

in theory they did sell their best player for 80mil, pocketed it and were in some decline since. lucky for them chelsea imploded when they signed torres and sacked anchelotti and city imploded with mancini 9inevitable)

one could argue they never replaced tevez nor ronaldo and pocketed the addtional moeny there.

they still can win it don't forget.

its not lie we reds don't mostly expect to take a beating of cheslea due to our own issues but the fact that some nuts think they can still win it and beat chelsea (barring a cheslea sending off or some bizarre occurance)

all thinks being equal LFc hwill have a hard time getting much off hull despite thier defensive woes and we also play palace in this block of 4 games... LFc will struggle to get 6 points too but its funny as F that utd think they are all that with that **** a defence and midfield

Was Brendan not allowed to spend the money on a top class replacement? Was he forced to use his transfer funds plus the Suarez money to buy a batch of mediocre players who filled out the squad but failed to improve the first team? Probably not.

for the record copying threads may be bad practice as the mod who threw it back wouldn't not realized it was a copy. it should've been merged back into the original but mods would expect it to be a move not a copy.

He wasn't forced. We've bought for the long term, players that are 20(ish) that will definately improve. The only issue is we couldn't replace Suarez, which to be honest is an impossible task. We ended up with Tagletelli and Lambert - we simply need a quality striker in Jan.

Other than Suarez our team is the same, except we have more depth. The Sturridge injury is crucifying us at the moment.
