Tbh, I probably wouldn't go nuts, but would buy my entire wishlist on steam (total cost about £40)

If i had to go nuts and buy a car though, it would have to be this:

Dear oh dear, there was some entertaining stuff on Monday Night Club on Radio 5 last night. I'm just listening to the stuff I missed after the WBU/ManU match. There's a phone caller talking about getting a souffle to rise, as a metaphor for Van Gaal getting his tactics right. The caller obviously thinks this is a witty and sophisticated way of describing the situation, but you can hear Mark Chapman and Robbie Savage on the verge of bursting into laughter. Savage countered by asking if Koeman has stumbled on the correct recipe by a fluke. That floored the caller because he'd run out of sophistication. :)

Thanks for that...I've turned Sky off as it was so boring. I would rather hear when the sentence is given that sit through all the turgid detail (only being given to prevent an appeal on the grounds that all the evidence wasn't considered).

I could have saved them all that time...I thought he'd get 5 years months ago. No way would he get the same sentence as any unknown person who committed the same crime, but public outrage demanded some prison time. 5 years was the minimum they could give him. I no longer think he meant to kill his girlfriend, but he has a personality like a ticking bomb. Someone was going to get shot some time.

Apparently, Pistorius likely to appeal and would seek bail during the process. Oh, add that to parole and the fact he might serve some of the sentence under house arrest it's very possible he may only spend a matter of months in prison.

Oh dear. South African law dictates that Pistorius can only serve 1/6 of his sentence in prison, i.e. 8 months.

Just said on Sky that he can only challenge on a point of law (under South African law) and he would risk being convicted of murder if the new judge thinks the present judge was too lenient. Depends if he wants this to trail on for ever.

The defence lawyer of Pistorius has confirmed that he will serve a maximum of 10 months in prison before being released under house arrest.

Far too lenient. I always think you should serve 2/3 of sentence with the reduction to encourage good behaviour. Otherwise what is the point, especially as house arrest is nothing at all as you don't even have to stay in.

If I was a younger man I would turn to a life of crime. It seems far more profitable than anything I ever did for an honest living.

Only if you are good at it...most habitual criminals would earn more if they worked for a living.
