You've ridden your luck that's for sure. However, despite only being 4 points off 2nd you're equally only 4 points off 14th and 5 off 17th. Despite playing poorly you've registered back to back wins and at this point in the season that'll always catapult you towards the summit.
I've been thinking this as well, to an extent. I remember many a game where Utd were generally outplayed, but won through a late bit of brilliance in an otherwise turgid performance. One of the few positives to take from our recent games has been the speed and efficiency of our breakaway counter-attacks, and if we had a CF who actually could find his arse with both hands we wouldn't be struggling quite so much.
Where have you been? As the regular opposition visitors keep telling us, its all down to good fortune Edit: I see post #7 fits the bill here
Who said it did? We've been poor, but we have played Chelsea, Arsenal, United and you lot as half of our 8 fixtures like
I'll take winning ugly if it gets points on the board. At some point we'll get some form....surely? When I see we, I meant our respective teams!
I don't think there is a really decent side in the league at all at the mo,hasn't been for 3 or 4 years now. The Prem. is at a low ebb in the big scheme of things
I'd say Chelsea are/should be up there with the best in Europe this year, so in theory should Man City. However City keep bottling it in Europe, the whole idea of lacking CL experience is bollocks in terms to City as most of their players played CL before moving to Manchester. And Chelsea, we're all are wondering what will happen if they lose Costa, but Remy looks better than Torres and they do look a better team than last year so guess we'll see later in the year. The rest of us though... Pretty **** so far. Nobody seems able to defend.
